The Swedish sister

SERIOUS BRUSH WORK REQUIRED

If you checked out our shrink-wrapped Swedish sweetie post, you saw this motor's twin after we were done the repair. This is what the Swedish-built ASEA motor looked like when she came into the shop.

We've already repaired one ASEA motor for this steel-sector client. This is the second one, in for a complete refurbishment.

We'll clean up the commutator and upgrade the brush assembly, as the original design of brushes and brush holders have been wearing prematurely.

The custom-fabricated replacement brushes and brush holders have arrived, so it's time to get down to work. The end result will be just as beautiful as the glamour shots we took of the first ASEA motor we repaired for this client.
