Duke shall provide all labor, tools, and supervision to complete the following:
Conduct a pre-job safety review and verify Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Confirm motor nameplate data, rotation, frame size, voltage, and mounting configuration.
Disconnect electrical feeds and control wiring, label conductors, and verify zero energy.
Remove coupling guard, decouple motor, and remove existing motor from base.
Inspect base, coupling, and mounting hardware; report any defects.
Install new motor, set on base, and secure mounting bolts to manufacturer torque specs.
Perform shaft alignment (laser or dial method) and document results.
Reconnect power and control wiring per drawings and applicable electrical codes.
Conduct insulation resistance (megger) test, phase rotation check, and verify grounding.
Reinstall guards and verify safe clearances.
Perform no-load and loaded operational testing, confirm vibration and temperature within acceptable limits.
Commission motor and confirm proper pump operation under normal conditions.
