We are looking for a permanent, full-time Parts Washer / Job Prepper to join our growing team in Hamilton, ON.
The successful applicant will assist our Industrial Brake Mechanic in cleaning and prepping parts and equipment for disassembly and reassembly. This role is the perfect opportunity for a younger person to get their foot in the door of a busy shop that encourages development and advancement.
- Assist with cleaning and prepping parts and equipment for disassembly and reassembly.
- Assist with cleaning work areas in the motor shop.
- Respectfully take instructions from supervisors.
- Follow general shop health and safety protocol.
- Learn how the shop runs and assist mechanics as needed.
- Other general labour duties as necessary.
- No repair experience is required, but mechanical and electrical equipment knowledge is considered an asset.
- Good work ethic and motivated to learn and assist.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment.
- Candidate must be reliable and dependable.
- Ability to understand and communicate proficiently in English.
$30,000 - $40,000
